TWO, FOUR, SIX, EIGHT, How many books can YOU make?

Young Audiences of Abilene’s Professional Development opportunity for educators on Thursday, June 10th focuses on making books with children. Teachers will learn to make 8 or more different styles of handmade books that children can write and illustrate. Using Loren Long’s books: Otis, The Little Tree, There’s A Hole in the Log in the Bottom of the Lake, and Smash! Crash! as examples, teachers will cut, bind, write and illustrate their own books to be used as examples in their classroom. Come join us for a fun adventure into the art of making and writing books!
